First Lady Michelle Obama Is "Fifty And Fabulous"
Happy 50th Birthday, Michelle Obama!
While President Barack Obama has aged anywhere from 8 to 10 years since becoming commander in chief, according to some, the first lady is still radiant on her milestone birthday.
At 50, she's got some of the most envied arms on the planet (who can forget thatsleeveless official first portrait!), a killer wardrobe, and quite the social life. FLOTUS celebrated her birthday with a trip to Hawaii and will reportedly host a White House fete later this month with "Snacks & Sips & Dancing & Dessert."
When asked about turning the big 5-0, the first lady quipped “I’m going to be 50 …Fifty and fabulous," ABC reports. We'd love to be in on her anti-aging secrets, but it appears it's all due to exercise and a healthy lifestyle. She revealed her fitness secrets in an interview with Vogue saying she works out every morning incorporating both cardio and weights.
And yes, even the first lady isn't exempt from having a mid-life crisis. "I can't buy a sports car. I can't bungee jump. Can't skydive, so might as well cut your bangs, right?" she joked on the Dr. Oz Show.
Check out more of her wisdom on aging gracefully below.

"What I’ve learned as a woman growing up, getting older, is you’ve got to know who you are," Obama said in an interview with AARP.Getty Images
"I feel like I still have so much more to do. And that's the beauty of it — mature women are showing us that it gets even more fabulous if you've got it together and maintain your health," Obama told AARP.Getty Images
"Women are definitely under a lot of pressure, but I think it's important to remember that to look good, you have to feel good. I look at my mom at 74 and see how beautiful she looks and how wonderful she is with our daughters and with me and my husband--and I want that for myself when I'm her age.," Obama told Prevention.Getty Images
"I have never felt more confident in myself, more clear on who I am as a woman. But I am constantly thinking about my own health and making sure that I’m eating right and getting exercise and watching the aches and pains. I want to be this really fly 80-, 90-year old," Obama told Parade.Getty Images"I look at my mom who's 75, and she looks great. When I run into older women who are in their 70s and 80s and they're still up and active and doing things, I tell them, 'I'm trying to be like you.' I'm embracing age because my point is when I'm 80, I want to be a fly 80," Obama said on the Dr. Oz Show.
