Channel O Awards - Full List Of Winners
Wizkid, winner of Most Gifted Video of the Year.
The 10th
edition of The Channel O Africa Music Video Awards took place in Soweto on
Saturday night (30 November) with a live broadcast on Channel O.
The ceremony
was hosted by Nigerian muso Naeto C and South Africa's AKA, who won the
category for Most Gifted Hip Hop Video.

Popular Movida Night Club Reopens ….
The ever popular Movida Nite spot, shut for several months was reopened last night. The club located along Adeola Hopewell in Victoria Island, Lagos operated by the smooth talking Akeem Shodeinde was jam parked with crawlers who had missed the spot famous for its location and music. Akeem, who was reported to be very ill at the time the club was shot was in a vibrant mood welcoming old and new faces to the newly furnished spot.

Punch have reported that Nollywood actress Nkiru Sylvanus’ Facebook account has been hacked. “It has got to my knowledge
that some jobless fraudsters have been using my name to swindle innocent and
poor Nigerians. Please disregard these people and know that I will be proud to
associate with whatever project I embark on. “Stop giving this Iria Ehis your hard
earned money. He is a dupe and he is not connected to me in any way,” she was reported to have complained.

'IGWE' Song came from God says Midnight Crew
They were actually eleven in number when
they started in 2011 but the quartet of Michael Abdul, Odunayo Ojo Onasanya,
Pat Uwaje King and Gbenga Oyebola, known simply as the Midnight Crew have kept
their wits about them for nothing else but for the love of what they do and
enjoy doing. In an interview with Vanguard, they revealed the popular song ‘Igwe’ first came out in 2006.

Reports have it that both actresses
who were seated on the same table at Peter Okoye and Lola Omotayo’s traditional
wedding did not acknowledge the presence of each other. They have always given
each other the cold shoulder each time they meet at social functions it is
alleged. It remains unclear what the acrimony between the two stars is.

Lewis Collins, Bodie in the hit TV series, Professionals is dead...
The Professionals star Lewis Collins has
died aged 67, his agent has said.
The actor, who played Bodie in the cult
1970s TV series, alongside Martin Shaw, died in Los Angeles after a five-year
struggle with cancer.
