Akinlolu  in Lagos said that there was nothing wrong in youths playing the Hip Hop, but they should use good lyrics to send their messages.

“We should not lay blames on youths, but the media that are pushing out the music to the people. So if what the media is pushing out is bad, it takes hold of the public mind. I continue to tell anyone that cares to listen that our so called stars lyrics are out of depth, shallow in meaning and embarssing.

Femi Sylvester Mayomi, popularly known as Father ‘U’ Turn is dead. There have been conflicting reports surrounding the death of popular dancehall artiste. A report alleges the Nigerian singer who was very popular in the 90’s for hit singles such as ‘yetunde’ died in a car accident at Okokomaiko, according to a music promoter. However a friend, was reported to have claimed he died due to kidney complications. A third party has it that his death was due to a sickness.
