Erotic Maheeda becomes 'Born Again' and asks radio not to play her songs again.

Maheeda in her pose

Maheeda

Maheeda, the sexy sensational artiste recently shocked her fans when she wrote an official letter to all the radio/TV house to stop playing her previous song, Oko Yanpia. The reason is because, she is now born again. The Oko Yanpia crooner, who lives on the Island and drives the latest Prado, we gathered, has accepted Christ and has re-dedicated her life to God.
She said that her Oko Yanpia’s song does not portray her as a woman of faith and has said that henceforth, her fans should view her in that direction of a new creature in Christ.
She said, “I want use this medium to inform all my fans out there and those who love  me that I am now a changed person and no longer the old person I used to be. God has finally taken over my life and I will continue to sing his praise”
Well, that’s good news. Let’s pray for her that she fares well and for God to be her strength because it takes the grace of God to stay saved. There are celebrities who have said they’d gotten saved and later on went wrong.

OFFICIAL: P-Square and May D Part Ways! (No Square Records Deal Ever Existed!)

So, it turns out that May D and P-Square have decided to part ways. The news first broke out on socialnetworking site, Twitter, over the weekend but we didn’t take it seriously… till a few hours ago. Here’s the official statement from Square Records below.
Official Statement:
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
“I, JUDE ‘ENGEES’ OKOYE, of Square Records Limited and Northside Entertainment Limited hereby announces to the general public that Mr. Akinmayokun Awodumila, otherwise known as MAY D is no longer an artiste under the aforementioned outfits due to irreconcilable differences.
We at Northside and Square records wish him all the best in his career and life.
Yours Faithfully
Signed: Jude ‘Engees’ Okoye, CEO, Northside Ent. Ltd/Square Records.”
May D with P Square

I took an extra effort to reach out to sources close to Square Records who gave me some inside gist on what really happened. Apparently, May D NEVER signed an official contract with Square Records. They only had a verbal agreement. So, when it was time to sign the contract, May D made some demands that Square Records were not willing to meet. For this reason, their relationship dissolved.
It’s really sad things got to this level. Hopefully they can work together again in the future.
So what next for May D?? I hear he might be joining Davido and the HKN Gang soon. He spends most of his time with Davido these days and he’s expected to fly with the HKN crew to the United States for a series of video shoots. ***ssssshhhhh*** Remember where you heard this first!

Majek Fashek

According to Hajia Oluremi Dangali, C.E.O of A Plus Entertainment ‘What he needs is rehabilitation and a strong pillar of support, not hisses or rejection. We cannot close our eyes and fold our arms and watch him waste away all that musical talent just because some people have chosen to label him a fading star. No. At A-Plus, we care and recognise a living legend when we see one and Majek Fashek still has so much in him to contribute to uplift Nigerian music and the entertainment world in general.'
